Margueritte Murphy and Samir Dayal, Associate Professors of English, Bentley University

Margueritte Murphy and Samir Dayal, English professors at Bentley, recently collaborated on a collection of essays exploring the myths and realities of globalization. Their book, Global Babel: Questions of Discourse and Communication in a Time of Globalization, makes the case for adding local voices to the conversation about the impact of globalization on society.

In the February 2^nd Inauguration issue of TIME magazine, Profs. Murphy and Dayal are featured in a full-page ad in which they answer questions about their book and discuss globalization from multiple, transdisciplinary perspectives.
