In the September 21st issue of TIME, Bentley University launched its 2009 — 2010 marketing program with a two-page spread featuring President Gloria Cordes Larson and Vice President Mike Page, Dean of Business. Set in the context of the recent global economic crisis, President Larson and Dean Page make the argument that students today have the opportunity to “recast how the corporate world operates in a global society.” In President Larson’s words: “At Bentley, we believe the next generation of business leaders will get it right.” We focus on unique Bentley initiatives such as our undergraduate pilot program, Complex Problems/Creative Solutions, our ongoing “give-a-year” partnership with City Year, and the many other ways in which Bentley students engage holistically in global business and societal issues — becoming the accountable leaders the world needs right now.
