Susan Newell, Ph.D., Cammarata Professor of Management, Bentley University; founding member of IKON research center, Warwick University, UK

Professor Susan Newell focuses her teaching and research in the areas of innovation, knowledge management and organizational behavior. As a founding member of IKON, a research network based at the University of Warwick, UK, Prof. Newell studies the social aspects of organizational change—in particular, what characterizes a successful innovation process when viewed over the long term?

In the December 29th Person of the Year issue of TIME magazine, Prof. Newell is featured in an ad where she answers questions about her research and offers up creative strategies for organizations seeking to jump-start the innovation process. Readers are invited to visit a special faculty research page on the Bentley website for further “conversation” with Prof. Newell.

This full-page ad appeared with a 1/3-page ad announcing the new Bentley-City Year “give a year” partnership, our innovative program that provides opportunities for Bentley students to volunteer with City Year and receive scholarship support, service learning credits and other benefits that enhance their academic experience.
