Prof. James Hunton, Darald and Juliet Libby Professor of Accounting and Research Professor at Bentley
Prof. James Hunton studies the behavior of key players in the financial market—auditors, financial analysts, corporate CFOs and CEOs and boards of directors. Recently, his research focus has been on Sarbanes-Oxley and the unintended consequences of regulations designed to prevent future corporate accounting scandals. In the October 15 issue of TIME, we highlighted Prof. Hunton in an ad designed to provide a glimpse into his provocative research findings and drive readers to our special faculty research website for a “video conversation” about the issue of conflict of interest in the boardroom.
