As attorneys and professors of law at Bentley, Stephen Lichtenstein and Gerald Ferrera realized early on that the emerging e-commerce environment raised a whole new set of legal issues for which there was little settled case law. They set out to help their students understand and manage within this new legal landscape. As a result, they co-authored with several colleagues the definitive textbook on Cyberlaw, now in its second edition. They also co-founded the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center (BGCC), a virtual global forum of teachers, scholars and students for the researching and sharing of cyberlaw topics.
