Prof. Stephen D. Lichtenstein,
Professor Law Department Chair, Law, Taxation and Financial Planning Co-Director, Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center (on left)

As attorneys and professors of law at Bentley, Stephen Lichtenstein and Gerald Ferrera realized early on that the emerging e-commerce environment raised a whole new set of legal issues for which there was little settled case law. They set out to help their students understand and manage within this new legal landscape. As a result, they co-authored with several colleagues the definitive textbook on Cyberlaw, now in its second edition. They also co-founded the Bentley Global Cyberlaw Center (BGCC), a virtual global forum of teachers, scholars and students for the researching and sharing of cyberlaw topics. In the March 24th issue of TIME Magazine, we feature Profs. Lichtenstein and Ferrera in an ad focused on the question of privacy in cyberspace and invite readers to learn more by visiting a special Bentley faculty research website.
